thecoache 0
Hi,I'm posting this in the iOS section because I've only been able to test it on iPhones. Please move if this isn't the right place.I seem to have an issue that may be related to the one in the following topic.https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/69823-playback-issues-on-chromecast-ultra/In my case however, I have a Gen2 Chromecast connected over WIFI attempting to stream 4K content on a 1080p LG TV. Like the topic above, all I get is the spinning wheel, which then disappears, and the video never plays. The Emby Chromecast screen comes back after a minute or so.Lowering the bitrate to something below the original video's forces transcoding which finally makes the video play. The following link contains a sample video which is affected by the issue along with embyserver and all ffmpeg logs generated when attempting to play the file. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ykEBd4HNSAETV-v9C6Ishs37wTlDA86_Some device info:Chromecast model: NC2-6A5Chromecast Cast firmware version: 1.36.141427Country code: CAEmby for iOS: 1.7.4Thank you. Luke 37233
Ok, it only supports 1080p content so we'll need a resolution condition to force it to transcode. Thanks.
