mastoul 0
Hello. I have today installed my new emby server and purchased a month of premiere. I am adding a small movies library just for test how the server works. No matter though the setings on metadata section my server doesn't fetch anything. I initialy set it up for greek metadata but nothing. After that I deleted the library and add it again with english metadata but with no result. Is there something I miss? Luke 37360
Hi there, can you please go over an example? Why do you feel that it's not fetching?

Best guess is something outside the supported scheme. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Movie-naming
Luke 37360
What is the folder structure of your library?
mastoul 0
My folder structure is as follows: D:\Movies\[0004] - After The Sunset/After The Sunset 1080p.el.mkv I am coming from Plex world and there this structure was working. With the same exact name I have the subtitle file but is not recognized as Greek subs Edited February 18, 2019 by mastoul
Luke 37360
What do you mean by "not recognized as Greek subs" ? What is the name of the subtitle file?
mastoul 0
What do you mean by "not recognized as Greek subs" ? What is the name of the subtitle file? When I open the movie on Emby client the subtitle is not recognized as Greek language. It says "und". But my main problem is that I cannot get any metadata right now
Luke 37360
Can you please try refreshing metadata on after the sunset, then attach the emby server log? Thanks.
Happy2Play 8409
Can you please try refreshing metadata on after the sunset, then attach the emby server log? Thanks. Looks like a folder vs filename issue, but my test was on beta. 2019-02-20 18:10:55.867 Debug App: Running MovieDbProvider for C:\Users\Media\Desktop\Videos\Movies - DB\[0004] - After The Sunset\After The Sunset 1080p.el.mkv 2019-02-20 18:10:55.867 Info App: MovieDbProvider: Finding id for item: [0004] - After The Sunset 2019-02-20 18:10:55.867 Info HttpClient: GET https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?api_key=f6bd687ffa63cd282b6ff2c6877f2669&query=%5B0004%5D+-+After+The+Sunset&language=en 2019-02-20 18:10:56.712 Info HttpClient: GET https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?api_key=f6bd687ffa63cd282b6ff2c6877f2669&query=%5B0004%5D+++After+The+Sunset&language=en 2019-02-20 18:10:57.388 Debug App: MovieDbProvider returned no metadata for C:\Users\Media\Desktop\Videos\Movies - DB\[0004] - After The Sunset\After The Sunset 1080p.el.mkv 2019-02-20 18:10:57.388 Debug App: Running OmdbItemProvider for C:\Users\Media\Desktop\Videos\Movies - DB\[0004] - After The Sunset\After The Sunset 1080p.el.mkv 2019-02-20 18:10:57.389 Info HttpClient: GET https://private.omdbapi.com?apikey=fe53f97e&plot=full&r=json&t=%5B0004%5D+-+After+The+Sunset&type=movie 2019-02-20 18:10:57.549 Debug App: OmdbItemProvider returned no metadata for C:\Users\Media\Desktop\Videos\Movies - DB\[0004] - After The Sunset\After The Sunset 1080p.el.mkv
Luke 37360
Yup, exactly. Why do you have it named like this? [0004] - After The Sunset
mastoul 0
Yup, exactly. Why do you have it named like this? [0004] - After The Sunset The number represents the unick identification I give to every movie i have. On Plex this number was confused with the date and I couldn't get any metadata. So the way to ignore this number in PLEX is to have it like this [0000]. This is the reason
Luke 37360
Did you try using our identify feature?
mastoul 0
Did you try using our identify feature? No because even if it works I have 4000 movies named like I explained you. It’s impossible to change their name. Edited February 21, 2019 by mastoul
Luke 37360
What about a folder renaming tool to rename them all?
