fredfunkel 0
Hi there, i am new to emby. on my synology i did setup the server and indexing my movie episodes worked just fine. but my movie folder he does not want to accept and i do not know why. i can select the library with no problems, but in the end not 1 single movie appears. which logfiles would i need to check to get a closer idea about the problem? or do you have alreday an idea? Thanks a lot!

solabc16 379
Hello @@fredfunkel Before looking further at the logs, can I check that you've granted the permissions required to your library? There are details here on the Wiki : https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-Setting-Up-Your-Media-Library-Share Best - James Edited February 13, 2019 by solabc16
Luke 37113
Yea it will probably come down to permissions I think.
fredfunkel 0
yes, i did this wrong in the first place. but figured it out and changed the setting for the videos (little odd here, that the settings for tv shows were already correct by default). buteven after restart Synlogy and Emby server still the same effect. Luke 37113
Hi, this log does not contain a library scan. Can you run a library scan from the server dashboard, then when it completes, please attach the emby server log. thanks !
