Hi there,

i am new to emby. on my synology i did setup the server and indexing my movie episodes worked just fine. but my movie folder he does not want to accept and i do not know why. i can select the library with no problems, but in the end not 1 single movie appears.

which logfiles would i need to check to get a closer idea about the problem? or do you have alreday an idea?

Thanks a lot!

Hi there, have you completed a library scan after adding your movies library?

wow, you are quick :)

what do you mean completed? I serveral time tried to do a libary scan, but with no result. And in the "task" menu there are no running scans.

yes, i did this wrong in the first place. but figured it out and changed the setting for the videos (little odd here, that the settings for tv shows were already correct by default). buteven after restart Synlogy and Emby server still the same effect.

Did you check out the wiki link that solabc16 posted above?

yes i did, this is why i added the write/read permission to my "video" folder. but still no success

Hi, this log does not contain a library scan. Can you run a library scan from the server dashboard, then when it completes, please attach the emby server log. thanks !
