stoc2528 0
My multi disc movies that I've ripped into a " pt1, pt2 " or "part1, part2", etc., aren't playing the 2nd part. I've followed the naming conventions listed in this Emby setup article; https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Movie%20naming where it says; Split video files (file stacking)The following are default stacking extensions that can be added to file names. # can be 1 through 9 or A through D. Stacking is supported for video files as well as dvd and blu-ray folder structures. part# cd# dvd# pt# disk# disc# You can also use: moviename#.extWhere # can be A through D. Examples: \Movies\Avatar (2009)\Avatar (2009)-cd1.mkv\Movies\Avatar (2009)\Avatar (2009)-cd2.mkv
ebr 14959
You probably need to put some spaces between the "-". e.g. " - ". HOWEVER, why are you doing this at all? Just combine the two into a single mkv and get much better functionality.
stoc2528 0
Hello, ebr I am using the " - " before the " pt1 " or " pt2 ". I haven't combined the files because I didn't know how and it wasn't necessary with Plex, which I left for Emby. Thanks for the suggestion, though. I'm trying it now with MKVToolNix.
