cd01 8
Hi, I recently got started with Emby... I like it a lot compared to the alternatives, to show support i purchased the lifetime thing! I have one problem though, i added a huge archive of images to my emby and i realize the process is taking 4gb of memory as it is scanning through the files. That had me thinking perhaps increasing the memory above 4gb on the virtual machine running emby would make things faster. To my surprise the process is still only consuming 4gb ram, so i am thinking perhaps i am running a 32bit version of the server? I went to the download page and checked... the installer does not give me an option to download a 64bit version yet the portable version offers a 64bit. Is there a way inside emby to figure out if i am running 32bit or 64? I also wonder how easy is it to migrate the install over to 64bit if i am indeed on 32bit, can i download the 64bit portable version and simply just overwrite the program files in the \AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system folder? Thanks in advance!
