Phorn 1
I run the Emby server on Linux Mint, with realtime monitoring enabled. I have things automatically download to my system home Downloads directory. However once the file is there, Emby never updates (even after hours). I always have to go into the dashboard and manually scan. This was the case with 3.5.0 and now version 4 Really an annoyance that I'm not sure where to start investigating. I checked the embyserver log and it says that it's watching the directory.
Luke 37116
Hi, .NET Core uses INotify for real-time monitoring, so you need to be using a file system that INotify supports. Can you please go over an example? Thanks.
Phorn 1
It's on ext4 I did a few things, some probably unnecessary, but -- reboot, reinstall, re-add library. I tried using mixed content library but it did not show any files at all for some reason. But I guess that's a separate topic. Anyway, now it's working and updating when new files are there Thanks
