hedgehog90 16
I have a folder called 'Name of Film (1960)' that contains 2 mkvs, different versions of the same filme, one of them is a 2010 restoration, the other is a 2018 restoration. But if I name one of them 'Name of Film (1960) - 2010 Restoration.mkv', then Emby assumes the film was made in 2010 and fails to identify the film. When detecting year and title, Emby should first check if the MKV matches the name of the folder. If so, attempt to get title and year from there. If that fails, regex find the last instance of \d\d\d\d (which is what I assume it's currently doing). Luke 37254
Hi, yes this is just a difficult one to detect. For now i would suggest finding an alternative name for them. Thanks.
