Pain 13
I just bought the Synology DS218+ I only have one 8TB drive in it right now. I am totally new to the Synology coming from windows and android. I have the docker installed and Emby on it running. I created folders and shared them under the default Video folder. So I would have it like this. Videos/Moves and Videos/TV Shows and Videos/Sports. I can see those on my network no problem but I can not get Emby to find them. I spent all day and got nothing accomplished, I just need some directions is all. Thanks..
Luke 37084
Hi there, did you follow our Docker instructions to learn how to mount folders inside the docker container? https://emby.media/docker-server.html Please note - the Emby team is not actively testing Docker on Synology. We have a native Synology package and that is the recommended install method. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
solabc16 379
Hello @@Pain As Luke says, unless you have some specific technical need, you are going to be much better served by the native Synology/XPEnology package. You can find details under the Synology section here : https://emby.media/nas-server.html Best - James

Luke 37084
On the clients it is showing up for, on the server selection screen there is an option to remove it.
