Jasoon 9 Posted January 31, 2019 Share Posted January 31, 2019 Looking for some advise I have two PC one windows 10 the other windows 7, im running emby server on the windows 10 pc but i have shared folders on my windows 7 machine with films on Ive noticed recently that films on the windows 7 machine ether wont play of take ages to play, and when i transfer films on to the shared folders that take ages to transfer. i know this is a very hard question to reply to but would i benefit from putting something like FreeBSD on my old pc and ether running Emby server on it or useing it as a network drive? legallink 187 Posted February 1, 2019 Share Posted February 1, 2019 Are your PC's hardwired or wireless? What kind of hardware are they going through?
