TV Controls are missing ?

Hi all I could be doing the completly wrong thing but after installing the new official release I've seem to be missing the icon up the top which kinda looks like a wifi bars on the iphone which opens up and shows which player your playing your movies or shows to and fast forward skip bar thingo and play stop controls ?? Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong ?? I hope they haven't removed them cause it worked a treat
