TimFromFL 5 Posted January 22, 2019 Share Posted January 22, 2019 (edited) I am currently using ServerWMC with emby to provide LiveTV. I am looking to add an HDHomeRun Prime to the mix and add it directly to Emby and not via ServerWMC. Is this type of split configuration supported? When someone uses the emby interface to set a show to record, how does Emby decide which type to use (Emby recording or ServerWMC recording)? Are there any other gotchas or things that I should be aware of before I set up this config? Luke 37119 Posted January 22, 2019 Share Posted January 22, 2019 No, the channels will all be unique and the recordings will not be mixed between the two back-ends. So it really ends up depending on what channel you start the recording from. So yes this will all work, but you will probably run into little quirks here and there.
