specsnow 3
Hi all. New Emby user here. I know I can update Emby manually using the pkg command but there are Auto Updste options on the GUI. Does Autp Update work on FreeBSD? Doesn't seem to but wanted to check.
Luke 37119
Hi, there should not be any auto-update function showing up in Emby on FreeBSD. What it will do is tell you that an update is available, but you'll need to apply it manually. Does that answer your question?
specsnow 3
Hi Luke. Automatic Updates is an option under the Settings tab on FreeBSD. I'm running the latest version as of this morning. Attached is a screenshot.
Luke 37119
In your case that will only apply to plugins.
specsnow 3
Perfect, thanks for the clarification. Is there plans in the future - maybe with the .net transsition - to implement automatic updates for FreeBSD?
Luke 37119
It's possible, yes.
