denywinarto 5
I have a huge library and this morning some of the covers are missing, the only changes i made to the server is shorten the library scan interval
maegibbons 1267
Is this just after the 4.0 update? Have you run a full library scan? Run avfull library scan. If you still have a problem post logs. Krs Mark Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

Krs Mark Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk The library scan was stuck at 90% ish so i stopped it and i ran it again, right now it's at 89.9 % I opened the log and it seems to keep expanding. Is emby doing a rescan on my whole library? I have around 120TB btw, any idea how long is this gonna take?
ThePaladinTech 22
Yes, it's redoing the entire library. I saw it posted elsewhere that this rescan is necessary due to a rewrite of how they treat folders. I have 16tb and i think it took an hour

maegibbons 1267
Yeah. A high degree of patience is required on first scan. Krs Mark
CBers 6813
If you have the "Extract chapter images during the library scan" option enabled, then it will take a long time. You could stop the scan, disable that option on each library and rerun. Once completed, re-enable the option.
Luke 37337
Yes I would just allow the first scan following the update to finish, and then let's re-evaluate. thanks.
denywinarto 5
Hmm alright so far looks like its normal after the scan is finished. But i'm gonna have to turn off auto update, cant have anything like this happens again
Luke 37337
I apologize for the disruption and thanks for the feedback. This was a major update. The majority of releases will be much smaller than this.
