Creating Own metadata from own private website

hi, 

 

I have created my own website with movie informtion, i then use that as a scrapper for xbmc using a plugin i created. Now i want ot start using emby. but how do i tell emby to scrap from my site?

Can i develop a plugin to do this ? please advice on how to create own metadata scrapper. 

my website has API. i just need emby to use this api to scrap data. am i allowed to create plugin for emby to do this ? and is there a guide on how to get startet ?

@@Luke why aren't the TVDB and TMDB scapers available on github?

Is it because of Emby's api key? If so, can't you hide the api key in the server core and publish keyless providers?

I'd like customize them a little bit and of course create a pull request after that.
