chenks 21
hey, i just installed the emby server beta over the top of the standard release version and was assuming/hoping that it supported the file structure for movies extras that plex uses? ie -behindthescenes, -deleted, -featurette etc etchowever i've forced re-scanned the libraries and those files are still showing up as separate items in the library and not within the movie they belong to. do i need to do anything else to make them go where they should? Happy2Play 8361
I will have to do some searching as this structure has been brought up before. But currently I believe requires items in sub-folder structure. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Movie-naming#movie-extras Looks like the discussion started here. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/66489-plex-to-emby-how-did-it-go I will do some testing to see if this was implemented in beta. @@Luke
chenks 21
i am still running plex at the same time, so i can't change my file structure. plex just requires the files to have the filename tagged and for them to be in the same folder as the movie file. post 3 in that thread suggests that it should be supported? Happy2Play 8361
What is your exact naming scheme and library content type, as mine get grouped.
chenks 21
content type is "movies". this is the file structure currently used with plex. Edited January 12, 2019 by chenks
Happy2Play 8361
Just saw that in the other topic. Emby currently treats that naming convention as separate item. They need to be named moviename-whatever "ie -behindthescenes, -deleted, -featurette etc etc".
chenks 21
ok so emby can't use the existing plex file structure. oh well, that's game ender for me then.

This way of doing it has not yet been implemented. We can look into it though. Thanks.
chenks 21
it would be appreciated if you could, as i really don't want to have to change the structure of the existing and mature library.
