mikemc601f 1 Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 Not sure if this is an IOS thing or a server thing. All my movies are M4V formatted for iTunes / appletv. However when I play them via the iOS app on my iPhone the server is transcoding them. I can tell due to the high CPU usage. It doesn't do this with the iPhones video player app or with plex.
