On the Shield AndroidTv 1.6.56g, running Emby server Version 3.5.3.0, there is an issue with which video plays if Cinema mode is on. There's also an issue with which codec video is played on multiple clients. I've attached server logs for the following scenarios. The UHD version has TRUEHD audio, the HD has AC3. Shield, Cinema Mode On Test 1. Select UHD. Codec video for AC3 plays. UHD video plays. Test 2. Select HD. Codec video for AC3 plays. UHD video plays. Webplayer on Windows 10, Cinema Mode On Test 1. Select UHD. Codec video for AC3 plays. UHD video plays. Test 2. Select HD. Codec video for AC3 plays. HD video plays. Shield, Cinema Mode Off Test 1. Select UHD. UHD video plays. Test 2. Select HD.
