effinG 2 Posted December 26, 2018 Share Posted December 26, 2018 (edited) I have come to the conclusion that Emby just does not work on the Shield. Everything else the shield plays is perfect. No issues with Plex, Netflix, numerous IPTV apps. I to have tried everything. Even bought a brand new Cat6 cable, bypassed home network switch straight to router on a gigabit connection. Video freezes on Baconfeet and Monkey, including backup servers. Tried Emby stable and beta. Same issue. Other devices on home network seem to be OK. Tried every permutation I can think of, using different decoders, external players etc etc.i have an 80Mb fibre Internet connection and tried various maximum bitrate settings with similar issues.
