dcol 165
While viewing Live TV, I notice some random skipping. I looked at the Nerd Stats and see dropped frames when it skips. Are there any settings to minimize dropped frames? Tried changing the Quality with no change. if this is just a characteristic of IPTV streams then I will just accept it, but if there is anything I can do, I will fix it. Another question related to this is what playback quality setting is best? Auto seems too generic. Seems when I set it to Auto I get more dropped frames. Luke 37345
It's hard to say. It could just be an occasional corrupt frame in the source, which is common for live streams. It could also be something on the client machine where the video player just isn't' keeping up. That's unlikely though.
