Diedrich 355
I've found myself frequently needing to see the timestamp where I last stopped a video. This could be TV or movie. Various reasons for this - I may want to jump somewhere else in the video, maybe back to the beginning to see a scene but then I want to return to where I last left off. In this case, I'd need to know the timestamp. I'd prefer to have this information prior to starting the video which would be helpful for content that is getting transcoded or is being streamed over a slow hotel connection. I propose displaying the timestamp in a few different ways: 1. The user can mouseover the video thumbnail in the details screen - not ideal for all users and clients and requires excessive coding. 2. Best: The timestamp would be displayed as a textual value on the video details screen - "Last watched position: 00:12:23"
Luke 37133
Yes I think it makes sense that the detail screen say continue watching from xxx position.
ebr 14940
Hi. Just FYI - the TV apps already show a resume button that has this information.
