aptalca 70
Hi, I'm running the Emby app on fire tv gen 3 (pendant) hooked up to a Samsung 4k TV When I try to play this specific media, with the second audio track selected (ac3 5.1 640kbps), the video transcodes with the reason "audio bitrate too high" (or something like that). If I play it with the first audio track (Dolby TrueHD), it actually direct streams. I thought ac3 stream would be better off since my tv and my soundbar (hdmi-arc) both support ac3, but I don't think either supports TrueHD. Any ideas why this media forces a video transcode with high bitrate ac3? aptalca 70
Hi there, can you please attach the ffmpeg log? thanks. I tried again the next night and it was direct streaming video and converting audio to 384kbit as expected. I then dug through the logs, and it seems a pgs subtitle was being mixed according to ffmpeg logs, I'm pretty sure I had checked the subtitles and confirmed they were off. I'll investigate further.
