Even as a lifetime member there could be benefits, like earning small discounts for future version (if you would be interested in lifetime subscription again). Or indeed earning additional devices for your lifetime membership. On top of that once you have a lifetime subscription I guess you are happy just the way emby is. Even without benefitting from it, I wouldn't mind for others to benefit somewhat from a referal system. I mean it is a good thing for emby to become more known.
