jhschulz 3
I added four new music albums to my music library but don't want them to be visible to one special user. So I added a special tag ("not-user-xx") to those four albums and added the tag to the "Block items with tags" list of the user's "parental control" settings. Two of the albums are completely invisible to the user, but the other two are still listed in die "Latest music" lists and can be played from there. They are not listed under "albums" and not listed as album of the artist (on the artist page) and not found when searched for, but they are listed as "latest music". I already did re-scans, removed the albums completely from the library and re-added them, but the problem persists. Luke 37288
Please try again with the next release of emby server. Thanks !
jhschulz 3
I will try it. But I don't want to use a beta version, so I'll have to wait for the next version to be released.
jhschulz 3
I found a workaround for this problem. After adding the tag to the album (and excluding tags from updates) I had to call "refresh metadata" on the album. Before the refresh, the album is still listed in die "Latest music" lists, after the refresh it's no longer in the lists (as expected). It looks like changing the album's tags does not update all related data structures, but refreshing the metadata does.
