Updating Metadata on Audiobook files

This is my first time using an Emby server ... trying it out after using Plex for many years. I am running into a problem, and am hoping either there is an easy fix - or just the knowledge that it can't be fixed. I apologize if this is an overly simple question, but searching didn't give me many answers.

 

In any case, I listen to a lot of Doctor Who Audio Dramas. I prefer using the Audio Book Files, and maintain them in their own library. In order to get them organized the way I like, I edit the metadata of the files.

 

I added a couple to a test Library (I tried Books and Music ... not all of the files worked well in Books, so I settled on Music), and then later updated the metadata and rescanned. The metadata and cover images would not update. I even deleted and re-added the files, created a new Library, cleared the saved metadata files ... nothing worked.

 

I've attached the log below and before and after screenshot (it is one file because it is the same either way). Any idea why the metadata won't refresh in the library?

Hi, i would change this into a music library and then try it out because in the next release that will be the way forward for audio books. Thanks.

It already is a Music Library at this point. Regular music files are updating, Just not the ebook files.

 

I can wait I suppose... this transition won't happen overnight. For now, I just want to replicate what functionality I can. Thanks!
