yaksplat 58
I've posted about this before when I was having issues with the Apple TV app not deleting its temp files after it crashes. But it appears that other apps are not cleaning up their temp files as well. I was having general performance issues around the house with emby and I found that once again my transcoding-temp was swelling. It held 30 GB of files dating a month back. We're using various devices around the house; android, ios, roku, firetv... So there's no way of knowing what's not cleaning up properly. Can a task be added to the server to clean up any transcoding files that are more than a couple days old? I'm running a powershell script to handle it for now, but it would be good if the server handled expanding files properly as a second line of defense, even if the separate app devs are not. Luke 37248
Well you shouldn't have to do either. We should find out why the files aren't getting cleaned up. Have you customized your server's transcoding temp folder?

They were parts of what my son was watching on his iphone, so it may be an issue with the ios app.
