Feature to read arwork path (stored on a centralized folder) from .NFOs and copy them up to the individual media files location

Ok, so after briefly discussing it here:

https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/65581-question-about-server-behavior-on-remove-libraries-and-re-adding-them-originating-from-a-different-path/?p=651981

I'm creating this feature request for future reference and to be thought of.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Context:

Imagine one has chosen to store artwork on a centralized metadata path ("Dashboard > Library > Metadata path") and also has not selected "Save artwork into media folders" (Dashboard > Library > Manage Library) for that effect.

That person would like to make the switch from centralized to "saving with media". There's no choice but to only apply that setting on new content.

Feature implementation:

Since (and IF) the .NFOs are saved "with media files" the new feature would be something like creating a hidden switch in the dashboard that would provide the ability to the server read from the artwork paths in the .NFOs using the itemID stored within SQL, comparing them to the 32-bit strings that give name to individual folders (in the centralized metadata path) and  then transitioning that artwork to the respective media files/folders (or simply copying them over with the respective name changed accordingly?)

This could also (and only) probably be added to the metadata manager rather than the dashboard options.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think this is specially useful for people with huge libraries that would like to switch from centralized metadata to the other option and make that change retroactive.

Or simply to have copies of the artwork as well.
