mgworek 121
I ran out of space last night and it screwed something up with my install. After I removed all my temp transcode files, I ran an update to the latest beta and now I am getting the startup wizard. All of my database files seem to be ok, I compared file sizes to my 2 week old backup. I tried to go through the wizard but it fails when I tried to link my emby account. Error log says my local user is already linked. Seems like I should be ok if I could get the wizard to go away. 2018-11-19 11:17:18.233 Error HttpServer: Error processing request *** Error Report *** Version: 3.6.0.65 Command line: /opt/emby-server/system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /var/lib/emby -ffdetect /opt/emby-server/bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /opt/emby-server/bin/ffprobe -restartexitcode 3 -updatepackage emby-server-deb_{version}_amd64.deb Operating system: Unix 4.18.0.11 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True User Interactive: True Processor count: 4 Program data path: /var/lib/emby Application directory: /opt/emby-server/system System.InvalidOperationException: System.InvalidOperationException: This connect user is already linked to local user mgworek at Emby.Server.Connect.ConnectManager.LinkUserInternal(User user, String connectUsername) at Emby.Server.Connect.ConnectManager.LinkUser(User user, String connectUsername) at MediaBrowser.Api.StartupWizardService.Post(UpdateStartupUser request) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Services.ServiceExecGeneral.GetTaskResult(Task task) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Services.ServiceHandler.ProcessRequestAsync(HttpListenerHost appHost, IRequest httpReq, IResponse httpRes, ILogger logger, String operationName, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpServer.HttpListenerHost.RequestHandler(IRequest httpReq, String urlString, String host, String localPath, CancellationToken cancellationToken) Source: Emby.Server.Connect TargetSite: Void MoveNext() at Emby.Server.Connect.ConnectManager.LinkUserInternal(User user, String connectUsername) at Emby.Server.Connect.ConnectManager.LinkUser(User user, String connectUsername) at MediaBrowser.Api.StartupWizardService.Post(UpdateStartupUser request) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Services.ServiceExecGeneral.GetTaskResult(Task task) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Services.ServiceHandler.ProcessRequestAsync(HttpListenerHost appHost, IRequest httpReq, IResponse httpRes, ILogger logger, String operationName, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpServer.HttpListenerHost.RequestHandler(IRequest httpReq, String urlString, String host, String localPath, CancellationToken cancellationToken) embyserver.txt
ShadowKindjal 19
Why not set up the server without the emby connect account and check the users once you get to the dashboard?
mgworek 121
Why not set up the server without the emby connect account and check the users once you get to the dashboard? I guess because I am just worried that the startup wizard is going to screw up everything? It's my first time having this problem and it seems like it's wanting to start from scratch. So I would rather ask before doing anything else.
Solution Luke 37251 Posted November 19, 2018 Solution Share Posted November 19, 2018 You should be fine.
ShadowKindjal 19
You should be fine but if you are really worried about corrupting your files then I would suggest making a backup copy of our installation directory and then proceeding with the setup wizard. mgworek 121
Everything seems to be working. Waiting for the library scan to finish. There might be a problem with one of my libraries, it failed during the scan but it's not one I use a lot so I will delete it and try again. Thanks!
