jonomite 29
I am using the Emby app on a Samsung smart TV. I have several audio files encoded in Opus format that I'd like to play. However, when I try to load a file, I get an error message stating that there is no compatible audio format. I assume this means that the Samsung smart TV doesn't natively support the Opus codec. However, shouldn't Emby detect that and transcode to a codec that will work? Or is that only the case with video? Thanks! Luke 37295
Or better yet just zip up a sample file and provide one. Should be small enough to do that. Thanks !
jonomite 29
Okay. I'm away from my computer for a little while, but will try to upload one. FWIW, it's an opus file encoded with the latest version (1.3). Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
