drex 1
So I can't wrap my head around this issue. I've been using Emby for a few months now and I really like it. The other day I noticed that movies with 6 channel surround sound are being transcoded to stereo and I can't figure out why. I'm using a Chromecast 2 hooked up to a receiver capable of AC3. I can see in the logs that Emby is transcoding to 2 channels AAC. Is there any setting I can change to adjust this? I've been looking for the AC3 passhtrough option but haven't found it. Thanks in advance!

Luke 37281
Ok apparently a Chromecast firmware update has caused ac3 support detection to stop working. A ticket has been filed with google. If you search the community there is a topic about this with more information. Thanks.
