Emby server crashes during media scan

Hey there,

I installed emby server on Linux Mint 19 a couple of weeks back and for some reason everytime the media library scan kicks in the emby-server service crashes.  I wasn't paying very close attention to it at first but now it's starting to get annoying. I looked at the embyserver logs and couldn't see any reason as to why its crashing but the terminal shows different errors everytime (see pics).

Not sure how to proceed, any recommendations?

Thanks

Ok so I started removing my media libraries one at a time and running the scan to see if things will fail and I think I found the one that was causing the problem.  Now comes the fun part I have around 26 movies in that folder so instead of removing them out of the folder one at a time, is there an easier way to find out which one is causing the problem?

Hi, since this is a new install, can you try the beta server and let me know how this compares? Thanks.

Hi,  found and deleted that file that was causing the media scan crash.

I just installed the beta version ... so far everything still works. I will test it for a few days and let you know more.  Although I can tell that I noticed right away that I had a couple of codec errors before and the update seems to have cleared them up.

Thanks

It was the new smurfs movie, lost village.  It was mkv quality just like everything else so not sure why it was causing a crash.

Ok so far the beta version is running really good I haven't had any issues with it.  I updated to the 3.6.0.60 just now.  The only thing since I'm new to Linux is there a way of updating from within the terminal or the emby dashboard as opposed to re-download the .deb file every time?

Thanks
