Is there a guide somewhere on how to use this properly?

I have a series that my wife likes to record occasional episodes of namely Autopsy. For example last night she recorded the one covering kurt cobain. Emby recorded it but it took me a while to find it because it decided to treat this like it was not part of the series. So for example in the file structure i have:

/<path>/Autopsy  The Last Hours Of (2014)/Season 7/ 

and there are 2 episodes in there, neither of which are kurt cobain.

Then there is:

/<path>/Nirvana's Kurt Cobain  His Final Days$

 

I guess my first question is why is this so messy with recordings? Secondly is there a way to have auto organize clean this up?

I have it set to monitor my recordings path but it has not detected anything.

There is no guide as this is all community contributed. You cannot point it at an existing library folder. It needs to be something that is not part of your library.

I see, well that explains a lot about the issues i have had trying to get it to work.
