This is my best plugin.

It is 99% perfect for TV Shows.

There are a few however that come down with a .US in the name - i.e Last.Man.Standing.US, Riverdale.US

Sometimes they don't have a .US on them but mostly they do.

 

Once I see red ones like this in the plugin (or am alerted by the kids that a TV show is missing), then I rename them to remove the .US and run the plugin again and all good.

 

In the old media centre master tool I used to use, there was an override function where you could set multiple TV shows as a specific one (so last mad standing and last man standing.us are both tvdb xxxxx).

 

Is there anything like that ?

 

Finally, what is the smart matches tab for in the plugin ?

"smart matches" that is exactly that "override" funcion

if you see a red one click on the little folder icon on the right, and set up your match, tick the "remember that correction" at the bottom

this pair gets added to the smart matches and will be recognized from now on
