tdiaz 3
I've got Emby running in a jailed environment on a XigmaNAS environment with Realtime Library Monitoring enabled and it does not seem to be recognizing any additions. I've got to go to scheduled tasks to trigger it, or wait for the daily / cron to run. If I go on the machine locally and do something it might recognize it, but if I drop the file in the directory via samba connection it does not recognize any changes. Is there another way to trigger the library scan without being logged into the admin area? Like if I want to set it up so someone can drop content into one of the library directories and see it in the library?
Luke 37099
The mono runtime doesn't support it on FreeBSD, therefore the Emby option won't work. As soon as it becomes possible we'll be switching to .NET Core and hopefully it will work then. That means for now a library scan will be needed to recognize new content. Thanks. makarai 108
I am not sure how you get your home videos into emby, but if you use sonarr and radarr you can just tell these programs to schedule a library scan when something new has downloaded.
SilentStrike 1
I am not sure how you get your home videos into emby, but if you use sonarr and radarr you can just tell these programs to schedule a library scan when something new has downloaded. So simple, yet so efficient in the meantime. Thanks! Will look into this.
