Hi guys,

 

First time post, made the shift from Plex to Emby... what a difference! 

 

1. It just works.

2. Plays 4k with no issues

3. Alexa works

4. it just works

 

Anyway...

 

The only thing which is annoying me slightly is the face that on my Sony Android TV, the trailers have to go external to the Youtube app. I really don't like this. 

 

On my Android phone it plays within the Emby app (or at least appears to be)

 

Are there any server settings which I can make to stop this?

 

Subscribed to premiere in day 1 of testing as well. 

 

Honestly guys, this now blows Plex out the water.

Hi.  Unfortunately, there is just no other way to play YT videos on the TV platform right now.

 

If, however, you acquire local trailers, those will play back just like your other content.

theres a trailer plugin that will automate this for you. Not free but very reasonable
