ServerManDan 2
I saw that there was new support in AutoOrganize for Movies, but cannot figure out how to use it. Trolled through this forum looking for docs or others asking. I managed to create a separate movie downloads folder for auto-organize to watch, configure folder names, etc. However, when a movie is downloaded it shows up in the Activity log with the error "Unable to find movie in library matching name [movie name]". If I click the organize icon I end up with a drop-down list of all my movies... but not the new movie, of course. Basically acts like the TV section where you need to create a series folder first. As I am unlikely to download a movie I already have, it's not doing much good. Am I missing something?
Luke 37274
Hi, welcome. This feature was a community contribution, so the Emby core team will not have your answers. But perhaps the developer @@PoppyPop or @@daedalus or @@ginjaninja might know. Thanks !
chef 3750
When a movie shows up in the auto orgainize list, press the folder icon to the right of the list item. Once in the organize section of the media item, select movie from the drop down list. Press the "plus" button beside the list of movies down list. The page that opens allows you to do a search of movie items that may possibly match your movie. Change the name of the movie appropriately to get a proper match. Choose the proper cover art that appears. Choose a folder where you want the movie to save to from the drop-down list. Click "OK" Allow the auto organize task to complete Voila!
