Ravenshield 1
Having difficulty getting Emby Threatre installed. The installer launches, you see a small box testing an internet connection for a short time Then it basically looks like its doing nothing I can see the installer in the task manager It looks like its trying to download to C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\93e933ac09c7487d8d2350c10d4efaa2 but the file is at zero There seems to be an install log here C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\VSD89AE.tmp But it doesn't contain any errors. End tasking and restarting just produces another temp directory that does the same thing I attached setup logs I found in the Roaming folder The device is running a base install of Windows 10 Professional I tried disabling Windows Defender Real time protection but it has no effect setup log.txt Edited September 22, 2018 by Ravenshield
Luke 37252
Hi, it's a large download. Unless you're seeing an error message then it is probably just taking a but of time.
Ravenshield 1
Error Downloading Package. There may be a problem communicating with the update server. Please try again. System.Net.WebException An exception occurred during a WebClient request. I went out for a few hours and came back to this. Trying again but I don't have high hopes Edited September 22, 2018 by Ravenshield
Luke 37252
I would give it a try again later. We know that others are successfully downloading it, but as I mentioned it is a large download so it may just be timing out for you. Thanks. Ravenshield 1
As it turns out my wifi card in this system might be toast. Download speed is reporting anything from 0.08 - 0.6 so I am ordering a replacement card. I am going to assume this will fix the issue, but it might be worth making the UI more userfriendly while the download is taking place. Its hard to know anything is happening waiting for downloads.
