(I notice tv identify results now have images which is a big step forward)
Luke 37118
Interesting, sort of like a description for each result.
Luke 37118
Do albums have this too?
ginjaninja 537
http://musicbrainz01.eastus2.cloudapp.azure.com:8080/ws/2/release/?query=%22101%22%20AND%20artist:%22%22 The artist has a disambiguation tag when searching for album but not the album itself. Oddly as an aside, the standard gui for identification on albums doesnt expose an artist field, so albums are always searched against blank artists by default..unnecessarily fragile? edit - so only certain artists have a disambiguation tag it seems, but still if its there it could be useful.. trott90 20
I will recommend use beets to tag the music before imported to emby library
Luke 37118
Ok yes i think the disambiguation would be nice to add. And yes there is no artist name although you can enter an artist mbz id.
ginjaninja 537
https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Disambiguation_Comment albums do have disambiguation http://musicbrainz01.eastus2.cloudapp.azure.com:8080/ws/2/release/?query=weezer Edited May 4, 2019 by ginjaninja
Luke 37118
Yea i think it's a good idea, but it would also require re-designing the identify layout to be able to display this.
