Emby correctly starts a file refresher for the “Wathever” folder, but also starts one for the “VA” folder. Since the “VA” folder has a lot of subfolders, the scan takes a big while. jmariani 11 Posted September 4, 2018 Author Share Posted September 4, 2018 Well, I do want Emby to scan the folder "Whatever" when it's added to the filesystem, so no, disabling real time scanning is not an option. I don't want Emby to scan the parent folder also, because it was already scanned earlier when the library was created. Looks like a bug to me, or at least a malfunctioning feature.
