icetech 1 Posted August 27, 2018 Share Posted August 27, 2018 (edited) So.. plex has annoyed me for the last time, decided to try emby. i'm at work, my server is at home i got emby setup fine but i am not home so i can't start a browser and connect to localhost.. And it won't allow me to connect to the ip:port.. i am assuming you have to go through the first setup before remote access is allowed? Is there a settings file i can edit and restart the server so i can get to it? thanks.. Please disregard.. i got it I would delete this but don't see an option.. thanks guys. I had assumed that it would have to do a local setup before allowing remote access. No big thing.. sorry bout the post. Reverse proxy or open port Windows or Linux ?
