kuipers24 0
Hello, I'm new to this program and forum. Just installed MB server & client. Server and client are running, including metadata of movies etc. But as soon as I want to play a movie is says: There was an error processing the request. LAV filters are installed. Enclosed is the MBT log. Hope somebody can help. Thanks Roy theater-63532412474.log
bluc 21
Have you managed to track down the problem I have the same problem, have not managed to find the cause though. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
space2001 18
I had this a while ago. It had to do with my LAV filters. Fully uninstall your lav filters and your XYsubfilter. UNinstall MBT install MBT This will install Lav and XY. If it comes up that it is already installed then you did not install the right filters. kuipers24 0
Hi Space2001, Thx for your reply. I've done that already before, but will do it again. Let you know if the error message is solved, or not......
kuipers24 0
UNinstalling LAV-filters and MBT (both with Revo) and reinstalling didn't help. Error message stays the same. Now added external player (VLC) and it plays OK. Also MBT on different computer is OK. So problem has to do with de player within MBT in combination with that specific PC (or codecs, or ??? ...). As it is now working with VLC, its okay for now.
SikSlayer 198
I'm having this issue too, but it can't be my LAV filters, I haven't touched them in ages. Edit: Now I see this is happening on a WMV encode, AND in the Folders view. Edited April 10, 2014 by SikSlayer

space2001 18
guys another issue I had which I forgot to mention is the lav filters I had were 64bit. These are not the ones that MBT installed which I think is the 32 bit ones.
bluc 21
Anymore progress on this? I have reinstalled the lav filters a couple of times no luck getting it to work.
hector 1
I sporadically have issues like that. Restarting the server helps.
Swynol 375
i get this error every now and then. what i have found is that some of my media goes offline for no reason. one way to check is to go into the webclient and check the media, in MBT everything looks fine but in the webclient they will be marked Offline. i have to many re-scan the media or sometimes a restart sorts it
hector 1
Yeah, I am starting to get this more often now. Very frustrating and the devs seem quiet on that front. Edited May 3, 2014 by hector
Luke 37252
We're working hard on the video player. There's a lot of changes occurring so we're just not at a point to do a release yet. But stay tuned.
hector 1
Thanks for the quick response. If it helps, I went through the logs and the error message was "Cannot play back the audio stream. The audio format is not supported." It is the same message for different movies I try. Just in case it was indeed some issue with the file, I went back to files that had played before and got the same message.
bluc 21
Getting this error when using external player as well, not just the built in one.
