KR!5 0
Hi guys, sorry if this is in the wrong place. I have learned the following procedure when it comes to anime episodes: by first going into 'Select Audio Subtitles' clicking (none) letting the episode play swiping down to bring up the menu that's accessible during playback navigating to the Subtitles option and choosing 'Auto' I understand this has something to do with the type of subtitle i'm asking the Apple TV to play which rely on the processing power of the Synology as well as the wireless speed between the Synology and the Apple TV. This method still works with the same files - but the issue is with some new files (same format, play with subtitles in apps like VLC) - here's what happens... I go to 'Select Audio or Subtitles' - choose (none) as I always do (instead of Eng Default Forced) - the episode begins to play, everyhing's going great so far, nothing unusual, and then I swipe down and... There's no Subtitle option! (only Chapters and Audio). I can't select 'Auto' subtitles as I'm used to doing Is there any setting I can change to make these files playable? Luke 37161
Hi, this should be resolved for the next release of the as we're going to have a new video player with much broader subtitle support. thanks !

Luke 37161
It's a major change for us so it will be a little while, but the new player can handle quite a bit more formats natively, so it's going to be great.
