Aprexer 0 Posted August 2, 2018 Share Posted August 2, 2018 Hello, I've done a clean install of emby server, I can't view the web app on edge because it gives me the error "INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE" and therefore the page doesn't load. I've tried it on chrome also which just displays a black screen with no content inside it, I've checked the browser console and there doesn't seem to be any errors and the page content it nothing but the preload which actually never loads. In Chrome change your url to just localip:port as the urls have changed in this new server release. Not sure on Edge as localip:port works for me but could be a Windows version issue. I haven't done anything yet and I've just refreshed and the content has decided to load, its done this about 2-3 times today and then maybe later on when I want to go onto the web app it just decides not to load anything. Both of these should work just fine. do you have any browser extensions, vpn or proxy that might be causing a problem? Do the browser consoles show any error messages? thanks ! It only fixes it to http://192.168.0.6:8096/web/index.html#!/home.htmlwhen it bothers to actually load. http://192.168.0.6:8096/web/index.html#!/home.htmlStill gives me INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE on edge. The only things I get from edge in the console is the following HTML1300: Navigation occurred. index.html (1,1) CSS3121: The media query -ms-viewport has been deprecated. I've tried this on clean installs of chrome with no extensions whatsoever and nor does it tunnel through a VPN or use a proxy. I did see this in console for chrome though if this is any help... Chrome only returns that it's loading youtube plugins. I have tried force refresh and tried it on my several other machines that have clean installs of chrome on. On my poweredge r710 it runs Windows Server 2016 as the main OS.
