/var/lib/emby/metadata/People not populated under Linux

Hello,

 

I have removed a lot of movies from my Emby server and did some cleanup on /var/lib/emby/cache, /var/lib/emby/metadata/People and some other diretories.

Now, I have uploaded new content but still /var/lib/emby/metadata/People is empty. Tried to create directories from A to Z with no result. All of /var/lib/emby/ and its sub-directories is owned by emby:emby.

I am transcoding video content on a windows machine and have installed emby on it. All actors pictures are visible on emby server under windows but none under linux even having reinstalled emby 3.5.0

 

Can anyone help me please.

Hi, try doing manual refreshes of media titles that contain these people, such as a Movie. Then pull up the movie detail screen. The people folder is not designed so that you can just delete them and have them automatically regenerate. Also people image fetching happens on demand, as images are needed, so you need to browse your movies after refreshing metadata on them. Thanks.
