SilentStorm 0 Posted July 25, 2018 Share Posted July 25, 2018 (edited) after update to 3.5.1.0 many problems / all users away / port change not possible I have in /etc/emby-server.conf add EMBY_USER=root and change http port on /emby-server/config/system.xml / not running I have copied all users from old directory into the new directory / not running I did the same as last time, why does not that work please help me I can not get any further Edited July 25, 2018 by SilentStorm Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
angusleung 6 Posted July 25, 2018 Share Posted July 25, 2018 (edited) /etc/emby-server.conf add EMBY_USER=root As I know you could not change user by using old method since 3.3 If you are using systemd You may try sudo systemctl enable emby-server@[YOUR_USER] --now For data directory you may edit it in "/etc/emby-server.conf" e.g. EMBY_DATA=/var/lib/emby-server Edited July 25, 2018 by angusleung 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
