gabiluz 1 Posted July 19, 2018 Share Posted July 19, 2018 (edited) Hi there. I'm really enjoying the Emby experience on my TV using DLNA. It works a lot better than Plex. I can't use Android app properly because my Android box is not certified. Usually, non-certified boxes tend to be slower and most of them don't use the latest versions of Android. Certified is also more expensive. The thing is: I can't use Leanback interface on my MX9 Pro Android Box. The same also happens with a lot of non-certified devices. Plex, for example, lets you switch the interface to Leanback in any device if you use their app. VLC Player for Android also has the same option. I wish Emby could do the same OR maybe add support for using remote (D-pad) while using their non-Android TV app. For now, I can only access settings with my remote control.
