How much time are you giving it? Your log only covers three minutes. Have you tried just giving it more time to see if the scan finishes? thanks. It's now been three days with no media centre so I'm pretty close to saying goodbye to years worth of history here (member since MB2) and just giving up. What I do have is a server that now takes 16 minutes to run a scan vs 4 mins prior to this update, on a PC where the SOLE change was the server update. The server now also cannot do anything during the scan it is just totally unresponsive until the scan finishes. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kuebs 6 Posted July 19, 2018 Share Posted July 19, 2018 I uninstalled all plugins and tried to reinstall all the ones I had. I did not have game browser, but this seems to keep Emby server running. Reinstalling plugins was surprisingly difficult and the box seems to stutter a lot now, perhaps it is reinitializing all plugin and their data, but I do have it running now, so I suppose I shouldn't complain. I guess I need to watch the server over the next few days and see if it settles down, after it finishes rescanning and downloading metadata. It's a Hyper-V VM dedicated to running Emby and a handful of plug-ins. Other than the crap Windows installs no additional apps installed. Almost 6TB of media. No music, just movies and TV series. I did another event log viewer and found this The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160} and APPID {9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276} to the user bailey-PC\bailey SID (S-1-5-21-1220945431-1361847375-3030985146-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable).
