Really struggling with getting Emby to work

Hi!

 

I've been struggling with emby for over a year now, nothing of what i've tried has worked, and now this latest trial seems to have crashed emby into a permantly broken state.

 

Emby crashes as soon as i enter my movies folder in any browser or app.

 

What i've tried is to purge and remove everything with emby on the system, and then reinstalling from scratch, both beta and stable version..

Hardware is a vm, running with 24 cores and 16gb ram

Cool!  Care to elaborate or do we get to guess?

 

edit: your logs are full of errors either relating to bad naming convention, or bad files.  still need the hardware and infra info in order to help.

Its running on a R710, 96gb ram, 2x5660 cpu's

 

Haha, sorry i'm just a bit tired after struggling with emby for a long time! :/
