djhifi 55
After searching the web and finding nothing about this, I'm asking to fellow synology users if they have tried using these commands to tidy up their library.db using putty? Because when I do so, I get this error right out of the start (logged in as sudo -i): sqlite3 library.db "VACUUM" Error: database is locked I would like to perform 3 SQLite actions, VACUUM, ANALYZE and REINDEX, but I'm not being able to. Did I enter an incorrect command? Any tips? Thanks Edited July 5, 2018 by djhifi

djhifi 55
Did you shutdown Emby first? LMAO...no. I'm having a harsh day. Let me do so. Stupid me Thanks, it worked. Just a little extra question: REINDEX is needed or just redundant after VACUUM+ANALYZE? Edited July 5, 2018 by djhifi

djhifi 55
Well I'm not sure when I'll get to it but it's something I'd like to do. Great. Will keep an eye on it. Up until then I will just regularly perform these commands. You can lock this topic if you wish.
