Scott750 29
I have most of my DVDs ripped as mkv's. But I noticed all of my 16:9 aspect movies show as 3:2 aspect ratio in MBC. But in the Server webclient it lists 16:9 correctly. If the movie ripped was done using Clone DVD then there is no aspect ratio in MBC, but the Server webclient still identifies it. My BluRay rips as mkv they display correctly as 16:9. I've refreshed all metadata several times. Is this some kind of bug?
ebr 14944
MBC is preferring the "Original Aspect Ratio" as defined in the metadata editor over the calculated one shown in the media info in the web client. As you see in your examples, the calculated one will often not reflect the actual display of the movie as all DVDs and BDs are technically a 16:9 aspect ratio - but many of the movies within them are different and that is what people really want to know. What is the actual original aspect ratio of the film (a lot being 2.35 or 2.40:1). So, what is in the Original Aspect Ratio field for these items? Scott750 29
I believe Pulp Fiction is 1.85:1 & Leprechaun is 1.33:1 Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
